Ok, this doppler is making me crazy.it reads an number, but I can't hear a hb. I used a lot of gel and tried with a full bladder for a long time. I'm sooooo worried that something is wrong. I have an Appt thurs, but I'm so scared. Two weeks ago things were fine. PAL brain makes me crazy. I hope this baby is not gone, I dont think I can deal with that.

From 12 weeks until about 20 i couldn't find hb with doppler, neither could midwife, it can just depend on position of your LO, so try not to worry (easier said than done I know!)
That's why I can't bring myself to buy one of those things.

I'm sorry you're having trouble with the doppler.
I also could not convince myself to get one, and at a 12 week apt. my Dr. could not find a HB, and after an emergency u/s, the baby was sitting low in the uterous and everything was fine.
