Ok, so here's the deal......I've been on progesterone suppositories (100 mg, 2x a day) for about a week now (since 13 dpo) and I'm REALLY tired, hungry, got the sore bbs (although not extremely), and peeing like a maniac! If I wasn't on meds, I would probably be sooo happy that I'm getting all these symptoms, but I'm so afraid that it's ALL med induced and I'm just simply sustaining a non-viable pregnancy. I know...really negative of me...but that's what my PAL brain thinks.

I read on some websites that the suppositories are supposed to cause a lot less symptoms than the oral kind, but on some other websites, it lists all the symptoms that I have... of course, causing me more paranoia. I really need to stay off those sites, I guess, but

I used progesterone cream until 13 weeks. I didn't get any symptoms from it at all. I don't get much in the way of pregnancy symptoms even without the progesterone though. This time I felt slight morning sickness from 6-9 weeks and very hungry. My boobs didn't get sore until the second trimester.
DId you get early morning sickness with your other kiddos? Fingers crossed for you girl!

Thanks Amy! My m/s didn't actually start with my other kids until around 5-1/2 -6-1/2 weeks. I'm 4 weeks 5 days today. I'm just so scared that this will be like dejavu. Trying to hold on to some faith, but it's so hard.

I have not been on progesterone, but I really dont want you to assume that all the synptoms your experiencing are medically-induced. Try not to beat yourself up about not taking the meds throughout your cycle (I probably would have done the same thing as you). I am hoping and praying that this is a very healthy, totally viable pregnancy!!!

Dani, I was taking my progesterone orally and it was kicking my butt. I was SO tired and had all of the symptoms you described. I was on bed rest and in my 2T so I knew the symptoms were from the progesterone. When I switched to taking it vaginally the symptoms became virtually non-existent. I bet that your symptoms are very much RPS!

Oh, I soooo hope you're right, Amanda. I am just sooo exhausted and hungry and now, tonight ,a bit queasy...but mostly still just hungry. My bbs are getting a little more sore as of this afternoon too, so hoping beyond all hopes that this is the real thing. I want my September baby this time......oh please, God.

Thank you for the prayers, Nicole. I know I must just sound like a negative nellie, but it's so difficult to hold onto faith after what I went through last year. Don't get me wrong, I pray all the time, but it's just the unknown that's so scary, ya know?

Thanks for the prayers. Yes, this all is really driving me crazy. Now my bbs don't seem sore at all, but I haven't taken my progesterone suppository yet...so it's making me think this is all side effects from the meds and not pg symptoms. I really can't bear the thought of losing another LO. I'm petrified. :(

Hi Dani,

I was on progesterone for 4 months before getting pg (200mg once/day vaginally), and never really had any symptoms from the progesterone.
