I had my 17 week appt yesterday, and it wasn't great. Once again the nurse ( different one) couldn't find the hb, so they rushed me into the next room for an u/s . I also am still bleeding so I started bawling sure she was gone. Good news is she's very mobile but bad news is that despite my no exercise no lifting and no sex orders, the subchorionic hematoma has grown 200 percent in size and was larger than my bladder. There's nothing that can be done he said and hopefully it will resorb... But I'm not feeling great at all about this

I'm so sorry you didn't get better news from your ultrasound. We'll all be hopin n prayin that the haematoma does what we all want it to do n disappears *hugs*

Sorry to hear it has gotten bigger and they had trouble finding the hb at first. Glad she's active and they found the hb. What a tense appointment. Ugh. P&PT that the SCH stops and goes away very soon.

I'm sorry you're having to deal wth this. I had a sch at first, and at my 18 week appointmtent they saw a second one. Although they never got bigger, they were both absorbed by my 24 week u/s... I hope the same happens for you, I know how scary it can be

Lots of P&PT that at your next appointment you have better news!! It is reassuring to know that others have had the hematomas and they end up resolving themselves.

I also had a hematoma with my second. I had alot of bleeding. It started around 11 weeks, was larger at my 16 week ultrasound, and resolved sometime between 24 and 32 weeks. I was on modified bedrest most of my pregnancy, but have a beautiful, energetic 4 year old DD to show for it. Don't give up hope. Take it easy, and I will be praying for you.

Sorry you are having to deal with this, I hope baby girl stays strong and it goes away soon!

I'm sorry about all the stress =\. My hematoma wasn't found until 16 weeks. It hadn't shrunk any by 20 weeks and at 26 it was completely gone. Hopefully yours does the same. Sometimes they just take a while. I'm sure soon you will start feeling her little flutters and that will really help you relax =)
