Not the best appt :(

So I saw the MFM today, nst went well and BP is fine, but doc only wants me working 3 days a week. My works kinda strict and not sure they will go for that. I'm having issues with short term disability and leave/ pay, and we can't afford for me to stay home without pay. I will do what I need to do for this baby though. Doc wants me home cause I'm very swollen. My face, hands, and feet, but BP still fine. Also he said my placenta is stage 2 in terms of calcification. He said he's not worried now cause I'm 35 weeks tomorrow and he expects to see some calcification, but wd be worried if it gets to stage 3. I'm freaking out. I'm so worried that something will happen to this baby. I just want a healthy baby, so afraid I will not take her home. I hope it's kinda normal to get nervous near the end, I've been having nightmares. See the mfm again one week from Monday, so gotta rest most days till then.

Sorry your appt didn't go so well. Try not to worry, you are so close to the end, if there was the slightest sign that things weren't goin to plan you could deliver now and your LO would be absolutely fine *hugs*

Awwwwe I'm sorry your appointment was so stressful. I'm glad to see how proactive they are in watching each of the issues! 35 weeks is GREAT and I'm sure they would have you deliver before anything goes wrong ((((Hugs)))) Rest as much as you can!!!

Glad the nst and BP are good. I really hope your work is understanding. They may surprise you at that. I used to work 3 days a week, now it's 5. Anyway, having those extra days off is really nice. It will give you more flexibility for scheduling appointments , getting ready for baby, or housework so you can enjoy time with DH you spend now doing other things. Sorry to hear you are having nightmares. I hope they go away. I'm sure it's normal to be nervous near the end. I know I will be. Yes, rest up and ((HUGS)).

Jen - I'm sorry you had a ick appt. Like the other ladies said, you are in a good place in case you need to deliver soon, but hoping she stays snuggled in and your BP stays low. Deep breaths - you've come so far and are almost there!!!! Hugs.
