I am sorry that I haven't responded to any of your posts about your pg. I am so thrilled that you are pg. again! I know that it is so hard to not be paranoid about loss, especially after enduring multiple losses.
thank you for the well wishes. And no, I son't mind talking about the loss. It was my first loss. I was also spotting off and on the entire time but I had 3 great ultrasounds including a NT Scan at 12 weeks and all seemed to be OK in spite of the spotting.
I truly had a feeling that something had to be wrong since I never heard of spotting while pregnant. I was so naive then, I thought you got a BFP and 9 mos later you had your bundle of joy.
I had a major bleeding episode in the middle of the night and the next had an u/s and there was no heartbeat. The baby was measuring 14W4d so just a few days behind.
After the D&C the fish test showed an extra set of chromosomes, It appeared that 2 perms had fertilized the same egg. That was considered a well defined loss that can happen to anyone. 6 months later I had an Ectopic, another well defined loss. Since I was 37 I got some tests after the 1st loss and did not have to wait for 3 miscarriages to get started.
My pregnancy with Nicholas was just blissful. So miracles DO happen.
It is great to hear that you were able to have a normal pregnancy after your losses. My losses all came after my DD. Its great that they did testing for you after 1 loss. I got my testing done after 2 losses. Of course everything was 'fine'.
Deb I am sorry you still have spotting and as a woman that loved her m/s I am sorry you do not have more symptoms. LOL got to us fellow PALs for wishing you were sick. I am still so glad to see you here and glad you had a good U/S last week. I will keep you and your LO in my prayers.
Thanks Laura. I totally get about the m/s I had NONE with Nicholas and it was so frustrating, lol. I also barely felt him move. I lived by the doppler. Now I am not sure how to feel. Every time I spot I think ..well, this is it but then it goes away as quickly as it came and I get hopeful again. The U/S tech detected some blood out side of the placenta and warned me to expect more spotting or even some red bleeding so, as long as i don't soak a pad an hour or pass huge clots I am determine to keep the faith alive for this little one.
I pray that all will workout for the best and we will have a little one next August.
