Very Worried- Spotting and test line getting fainter

Hi Ladies

I never formally introduced myself, but I know many of you from the tTCAM board. My name is Sherilyn. I got my first BFaintP 1 week ago after 15 months ttcam.

I have been testing daily to see if the line got darker and it did everyday until yesteray. I was using the FRER test and then made the mistake of getting the FRRR test that apparently is at a higher mIu/ml. Well after scouring the internet, I went out and got another pack of FRER tests and took a test with SMU which was also faint.

Then to make matters worse, I had a 'brown spotting' incident at work. It only happened once and i decided I would just use the second test with FMU and test this morning. Well I was up in the middle of the night with diarreah(tmi), but I thought I held my pee at least 4 hrs before testing this morning.

The result: A BFaintP like 1 week ago. So now I am really freaking out. Then the next time I go to the bathroom, brown spotting (TMI) is there again. I rescheduled my Tuesday appt to this afternoon at 3 and I am trying not to drink anything so that my urine will be concentrated when I go in and also eat something salty 2 hours before because apparently the salty foods binds to the hcg in early pregnancy.

Honestly, I have spent all day on the internet looking up if second line getting fainter does that mean m/c and all that. I've had my crying jag this morning and now I am sitting here looking at all my 16hpts that had, until yesterday, been getting darker and looking at this mornings test to verify that at the least the very faint line is there.

I have my 2nd test that i will have in my purse so that when I do the urine sample for the doctor, I can take it and see what it says before they give me their bad news.

Can I have your opinions. Do you think there is a chance I have a sticky bean?

Thanks for reading this if you got all the way through.

Sherilyn

Sherilyn,
I wouldn't put too much weight in fainter or stronger lines on your hpts. I would definitely get betas instead because that will tell you a lot more.

I wish I could just come over and put my arm around you and we could cry together, cause I'm feeling the same way as you right now.

I hope the spotting's nothing, sweetie.

You're in my prayers. {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

Thank you so much Dani.
When I had my m/c 15 months ago, the Dr on call (My midwife was on vacation) said it was because my eggs were "old". I guess she was trying to make me feel better.

I was 39 then and am 41 now, so I am ultra concerned. I have been praying, so the outcome will be His will. I just pray that is a sticky baby for me...

I will update when I get back this evening. I am praying for you that everything is ok with you as well and you see a wonderful h/b on Tuesday...

Take care...

Yeah, I get you on the "old eggs"...I'm 43 now, so I get where you're coming from. Although my loss in May was not from a chromosomal issue though...so makes me wonder. I'm hoping the progesterone and baby aspirin did the trick for me this time.

I hope this baby is super sticky for you too. You are so strong in asking for God's will. I try to....but then weakness sets in and I just beg for the life of my baby. *sigh*

I'll be thinking about you and praying. {{{HUGS}}}

((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))

You cant go by the darkness of the line. With my DD i POAS 10min before having blood work done and I got a super faint need glasses to see it line. It was a super sensitive test that test from 10mu. I blood work came back at 700+ which makes no sence!

The same happened to me this time around. I POAS on fri (last week) and got a faint pos and my blood work came back at 109. The darkness of the line doesnt give much info.

Wishing you the best of luck at your appt today! Sending you sbvs!!!! Hope everythings ok

Well, the news wasnt good. The urine test in the Dr's office was negative. She sent out a blood test, but I am spotting more, so i know its over.

HOpefully the next time I come over it will be to stay.

Take care,

Just wondering...has your doctor considered putting you on progesterone after O? I wonder if your lining is thin or something?

Anyway, I'm thinking of you today and keeping you in my prayers.

Hi Dani

We actually did speak of progestrone yesterday. I did get my beta number and it was 4. She said she will give it to me after my bfp next time and see if that helps. I didnt think of taking it after 'O'. I will ask her about that.

Thanks for your prayers and thoughts. I think everyone praying for me helped because I am feeling much better and much more optimistic today.

Try to have a good weekend and I will look forward to your wonderful update after the u/s on Tuesday.

Take care...

Sherilyn

Im so sorry.
Thats exactly what happened with my first m/c :(

I have no idea if these things helped but I was taking CoQ10 for 'old eggs' & DHEA. I also started taking a systemic enzyme called Zymessence. I had read that a women who had 5 m/cs took it doing nothing else different & carried a baby to term the next time.

(hugs)
