So I'm a little nervous. I know it's normal to feel the baby move sporadically at first, but how sporadic is normal? I'm contemplating call the doc because I was feeling flutters and such the last couple of weeks but now it's been a few days at least since I've felt anything. Would you call or just wait for more movement? I have an appt. in 2 weeks, should I just wait until then?

It is totally normal to feel something & then not where you are for a few days.
I even had that with 2 in there & I would freak.
If it makes you feel better call Dr.

I'd call, but I'm a paranoid mess... luckily my doc and his girls know this and are ok with it!

I don't think I've ever had regular movement at 17 weeks. I think around 20+ it starts to get a bit more regular. :) You can always call your OB if it feels concerning to you though.

Carsyn was like that around that time...i would feel a little bit here and there and freak out for days because I didn't feel anything....

This is were a home doppler can help take the jitters away. You're at the point in pg where you should be able to hear the HB with a doppler, even if you can't always feel movement. Babies are teeny-tiny at this age and they can "hide" behind the placenta or be kicking towards your back where you wouldn't feel it. You should be feeling a lot more regular movements in the coming weeks. Hang in there.....

I am 18 weeks and I'm still not sure if I have felt any movement:) I am at ease because I do have my Doppler:)

Thank you all. I'm going to wait it out. I still have to pee every 5 seconds and have awful heartburn so that makes me feel better, lol. I know, it's sickening that I want to feel crappy.

I love having my pg symptoms because even though I'm miserable they remind me that I'm actually pg. I hope your LO gets moving soon!
