Congrats Jess! I'm not sure why I've been lurking on PAL lately, but I'm glad I did so I can see this. Congrats hun :) I'll be keeping you in my prayers! *for those who don't know me, I had my last PAL baby 16.5 months ago.* Sorry for lurking! Maybe part of me has a little baby fever, lol.

YAY good appointment. So nice when things are measuring right on. I would was the same way as you all giddy and not absorbing things very well. Subchronic hematomas are pretty common from what I understand. Don't you think we are our own worest enemy. You just have to remind your self today you have a perfect little one growing inside you and that will make each day go by a little easier. Looking forward to your ultrasound next week.

Sorry I meant to post yesterday. The baby has a strong heartbeat and is measuring ahead! Well what they think it ahead because they go by LMP and 28 day cycles. I have shorter cycles so I thought I was right at 8 weeks. Baby measured 8w 1d. And I do have a subchorionic hematoma. Doctor said it’s 2mm and about 1mm (thick?) so she put me on progestin or similar. I’d have to look at the bottle. And I felt really good about the whole thing until I got home and thought and thought then thought some more, lol. And now I’m worried about her whole tone. I’m sure she was just being cautious but her tone was encouraging but not really hopefully. I was on a high because the baby had a heartbeat and was smiling like a fool while she was telling me all this. I totally forgot the heart rate too J I go back next Thursday for another U/S. I am super excited. I haven’t passed any milestone so I’m not relaxed at all but just knowing the baby is growing right makes me excited to ‘him’ again.

Thank you for asking!

Mellissa

Oh the poor U/S tech is the same one that had to tell me both the other times there was no heartbeat. She is so sweet, she cried with Matthew she could barely get the word out. Poor thing I saw her terror when I walked around the corner J Strangely I felt super comfortable when I saw her like yeah we can do this, we’ve been here before.
