Landon's birthday...
| Sat, 03-26-2011 - 5:52pm |
Today was Landon's first birthday 3.26.10 I miss him more every single day. All year, I've prayed for one thing, to get pregnant before his birthday. I am so thankful, I wake up every morning and thank God for this miracle in my belly, I thank Him all day long, I go to bed and thank Him for one more day with our lil thunder wonder. I ask the angels to keep us safe every single day.
Today was a great day! Dh and I took the packets I made to the hospital. They included a crocheted hat for baby and a mini replica for mom, a decorated bag and a pair of scissors for a lock of baby's hair, a camera with suggested pics, and a Mom of an Angel bracelet donated by S.O.B.B.S. I also donated two baby blankets just in case someone didn't have one. They loved them! There were even two nurses working that took care if me, I was in the hospital for 8 days, they remembered me and one even called dh by his name! They were excited to hear that we were expecting and said they couldn't wait until I started getting NST's so they could see us!!!
Then we did a balloon release at Landon's grave, it was gorgeous! Then our parents, 2 of my brothers, his sister and her family, and my bff came to our house and we ate food and birthday cake. Only one thing could have made this day better, but it was the best I could have asked for, given the circumstances.
Landon, your mommy and daddy and your whole family wishes you could have been here, we all love you and miss you very much, but we saw the sun rays you sent us in the pictures from your balloon release. I love you little baby, I love you so much, I hope you got your balloons, I put a kiss on them for you, thank you for the special gift you gave us, thank you.

My thoughts are with you and your sweet little angel today. I'm so excited for you expecting again!
My sweet baby boys Josh and Jesse were born into the arms of Jesus on January 11th 2008. They will always be missed and remain living in my heart forever!
