Born by section @1pm.
Baby A Aaron Kingston was 6#11oz at 37w and B Elliott Holden 6#2oz
Aaron is in special care nursery for grunting while breathing with iv but no other intervention. Eli also has same issue but less so so in reg nursery since I can't really move yet
Nothing from pumping tried BFing Eli but didn't go well and couldn't feel body yet to get in good pos
Still no sleep for me so I will try now
So glad belly is gone and they are adorable but want them together with me

Keep pumping, eventually you will get something. A c-section can beat up your body and take awhile to send the signal to your breasts to make the milk. I pumped for a couple of days around the clock every 2 hrs. before I got more than a few ml, eventually I was getting 3-8 oz. at each pumping. It does get better, it's all about continual stimulation.

Congrats on the boys.
Congratulations! Hopefully you're getting some rest, and I'm sure your milk will come in soon. I remember getting myself worked up when I wasn't pumping but a mL or two during the first few days, and then boom, milk came in full force and I had plenty for two. It's amazing how your body adjusts and knows you need to feed more than one.

Congratulations Mindy!! Looking forward to seeing pictures of the boys. Hopefully BFing has improved and you are all together now.
Thanks everyone.
We came home today. Ped kept boys an extra day. Aaron is on line for jaundice & didnt want 2 days b4 I saw my Ped. I was ready to scream being in hospital.
My back is killing me from the hospital bed. I think I had maybe 3 hrs sleep last nite. Its ok for a day or 2 but Im crashing. Im starting to get sick. My incision is getting infected since my belly hangs over it & its all moist in there from shower or heat. Ugh! Ive stuck gauze in there now.
My milk did come in yesterday or day before & my boobs are killing me. I try & pump after every feed but I do get lazy @ nite even though I know thats the best time. Im using shields with both boys though hopefully I can drop Aaron's soon. They flip flopped as far as who was better nurser. Even though Aaron is better he still lost another oz. last nite and has his bilirubin levels. Im trying for 2.5 hrs feeds but they are also big time spitters so Im stil finding out how much they eat when as Im supplementing with EBM after each feed as both are usually rather sleepy.
OK time for next feed shortly and then hopefully a few hours of sleep for me.
Sorry pics later.
A good trick with your incision is to fold an ultra thin maxi pad over itself and use that. It isn't likely to stick to your incision but it will absorb a ton of moisture.
