I thought while I had a moment, I would finally post my birth story. Sunday Aug 7th was just like any other day, went to a BBQ, then came home and just hung out with the kiddos. I hadn't been feeling well most of the day but figured it was just the usual aches and pains. Drank water, laid on my side and still didn't feel right. About 1030pm, I called my mom and told her I wasn't feeling right, it felt like there was a bowling ball between my legs, my back was hurting and I felt crampy but nothing that could be counted. Knowing my history, she said Call DH and get to the hospital, I'll come get the kids. So I called the hospital, then called DH and waited for him to get home from work. We got to the hospital about midnite, got my sexy gown on and got examined. I was only 2cm and 70% effaced. I thought for sure I'd be going home. I had nothing with me. They put me on the monitors and started IV fluids. The nurse had issues picking up Boy A's HB so I couldn't move and that was horrible!! 2 hrs later I was checked again-3cm 75% effaced. I was told I'd be staying at least til morning. About 8am Monday morning they came in and put me back on the monitors again. After an hour they took them off and said the Dr was going to look at it because Boy A's HB kept fluctuating and he wasn't moving much. 930 am-the nurse comes in and said the Dr ordered a BPP and I would be going down to U/S. I was down there for about an hr then was baack back to my room to wait and the nurse was telling me that depending on the outcome, I wasn't leaving. They'd keep me til 36 wks and either induce or do a c-section but if the BPP wasn't good I'd be delivering soon. My Dr came in and said that Boy A's BPP score was 4/8-babies were coming that day. I was like What? When? She said we're going to start inducing now. So she broke Boy A's water and stripped my membranes then said she'd come back in a bit to check. Anesthia came in and I was like no Epidural. I honestly didn't remember labor hurting. My other 4 kids were all natural births but I changed my mind about the meds. The Dr came in about 1 pm and asked I was doing. I told her I'm sorry but I changed my mind, I want the Epi!! She asks if she can check me and i said yeah(what else could I say?) She's like Oh-you;re complete, call the OR we're bringing her stat!!! Then the action picked up. I got down in the OR and there were people all over the place. They transferred me to the table, Dr checks me again and guess what? I was only a 7!! So she paged anesethia and we waited for them so I could get my epi. Once I got that-I was in heaven!!! It also progressed my labor because after like 30min I was complete. Pushing was hard because I never pushed with meds, but after like 3 pushes Boy A aka Gabriel was born at 218pm. He looked like a baby doll and I was nervous because of his size. Boy b didn't want to come out. He hadn't dropped and was sunny side up. It felt like I was pushing forever. Then the Dr said his HB and O2 levels were dropping. They threwan oxygen mask on my face and they are telling me to push like I've never pushed before. One of the nurses was pushing on my stomach as I pushed to help get him down farther. Then the Dr said the placenta was starting to seperate, he had to come out now. She ended up using the vacuum and 4 more pushes Boy B aka Gavin was born at 328pm. Despite his BPP being low-Gabriel was fine. Gavin was on a heart monitor for 24 hours. Gabriel was 5lbs2oz 17 inch, Gavin was 6lbs10oz 18 inches. They had feeding issues intially in the hospital but caught on the last night there. Gavin had brusing on his head from the vacuum and slight jaundice but otherwise was good. We were at the hospital for 2 days and all got to come home together!!! It was definitely an experience I'll never forget. The kids all adore them!! My recovery went well although I was diagnosed with PP. i would do it again in a heartbeat!!!

Wishing you all the best for your pregnancies!!!! I'll try to attach a few pics. The tummy pic is my last pic taken-at the BBQ of the day I went in. On the boys pic-Gavin is on the left and Gabriel is on the right.
