Oh man I don't know if your going to like what I have to say or not .Please don't take offence I'm just trying to be honest.

I just has my twins 7 weeks ago and I have an 19 month old and it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO hard! I couldn't breastfeed because of my older one. I would get the girls latched on and eating and he would be climbing on the table and getting into whatever he know he wasn't suppose to. He still is a baby and wants mommy and daddy and it makes it very hard. It is so much work and really we didn't want anymore after our 2 boys . We have a 5 year old and now 19 month old but I'm so happy the girls are here don't get me wrong. Just wasn't planned at all. If you do go for it know that its a lot of work but you will make it. Things wont be like you dream however some of the best gifts are unplanned!

Good luck with your decision I know its a big one!

I appreciate the honest feedback, I should have probably given a bit more background.

I understand how you feel and with the pressure of age and time ticking - you should probably strike while the iron is hot. I love having a larger family and am on the fence as to whether we should have one more or not (I'm 44 dh is almost 50).

There will be stressful moments but they sahll pass. I don't think it would get much easier until several years pass so since that isn't an option you should go with your plan and just know there will be tough moments but lots of great ones too:)
