It has been a long time ladies

I'm so sorry I haven't been here to visit and update you all on my progress. I'm sure I posted the twins' birth story but the succeeding months have been busy and surreal. I went back to nursing school when Mark and Isabel were 10w old. It was hard but I was driven to get done. Well, the last week of my first term back I'm sitting at my clinical site and when our instructor came in, I asked, "Angela, how far apart are your twins and your son?" She looked at me and she said, "23 months." I said, mine will be 13. I found out five days before, at 12 dpo that I was pregnant again, the twins were about 4 months old. My first cycle after having them. I didn't think it would happen, since we did IVF to get the kids, so I figured we didn't need to worry about birth control, that's a dirty word to us women who tried hard to attain a viable pregnancy in the first place, LOL.

Anyway, at 20w, after a week long cruise to Mexico with the twins, my mom and my aunt, I went to the doctor and was 50% effaced and 1.5cm dilated, so I got a cerclage and got to quit school again for six months. Not happy, but when I do go back in December (AGAIN) I will only have six months to go.

We're having another girl, my DH's fourth daughter, our son is right in the middle. Her name is Aislynn-James Idolyn. I'm due 11/2 but my doc will be happy if I make it to 34 weeks, just 4 weeks away. I'm nervous, excited and at the pinnacle of a baby boom in the family. My SD had a baby boy in April, so we have a grandson for our boy to grow up with in case we don't have another boy and her cousin just had a baby monday, another boy, and the cousin's sister just found out last friday she is having twins in February, so it's been a busy year for us.

We do still have two frozen embryos we plan to use when Aislynn-James is 9m-1y old and at least by then I will be an RN so I will be able to help buy the bigger house and car we need to survive!

Thank you ladies, and hopefully KIm will pop in here soon with an update, I've been thinking about her a lot since her trips were born 4 days before my twins were.
