My baby boys have arrived before xmas!

Here's my story....

I finally made it. The big day was so awesome. My twin boys have arrived before X-mas. For the past 3 weeks I have been dialted to 5 but, my Dr. wanted me to wait to make it to 38 weeks. I had a very easy pregnacy except for the darn pelvic pain and swollen feet my Dr kept pushing the birth until after x-mas. The schedule induction was for DEC. 26 at 5:00am. But as my story begins so does the date of our babies birthday. On the morning of DEC. 19 I went in to my regular schedule Dr. appt. I was 37 weeks 2 days as I was feeling okay and extremely hungry I was anxious to finish Xmas shopping for the rest of the day. However Dr. tells my after my exam that I needed to walk over the Hospital because I was fully dialated to 8. I was so shocked!!!! I didn't have any contractions. I was feeling good. So husband and I packed our bags gave our daughters hugs and kisses and off we went to the hospital. I arrived at the hospital at noon 12:00pm and after 3 1/2 hrs. of labor:
Baby "A" Luke Rafael arrived at 3:21 weighing at 5pds 15 ounces 19 1/2 inchs long and Baby "B" John Mark arrived at 3:26 weighing at 6pds 9ounces 19 inches long.

Babies were born vaginally everying was fine and are very healthy. I myself I'm shocked that the whole experience went very smooth and quickly. We came home after 24hrs in the hospital and the breastfeeding is going well also. I'm a little soar and tired but, its so worth it to see the miracle of two babies in your belly that are now in your arms to hold and love.
