Oh my Jennifer, what a story! I'm not sure where to begin, so I'll just say CONGRATULATIONS on two beautiful, healthy little girls! Makayla at 5.6 is not large by any means, but next to her little sister she seems so huge. I know that we were told that a cleft lip alone, with out a cleft pallet is pretty hard to see on an u/s, but I'm thinking because of their size difference you may have had a 3 or 4D? That should have picked it up. Either way, Mackenzie is a beauty and it sounds like she'll have quite the fighting personality.

I'm sure the healing is hard. I had a terrible vaginal delivery with my daughter and had to have home care and surgery to correct it, I know it's tough (worse than either of my c-sections), try to get as much rest as possible.

Again, Congratulation on your girls, please keep us all updated on how you're doing (here and Raising Multiples) and post lots of pictures!

First of all, congratulations on two beautiful girls!

That was a long labor and very scary at the end. I'm so glad everything went well after all and that your girls are doing so great! I'm sorry you are having a hard recovery and I hope you feel better very soon!

Jennifer -

What an ordeal! I'm so glad that your babies are doing better and getting stronger. It sound like you are doing an amazing job with bf them already. It's so hard to do when they are at the hospital, but bf them now will probably make the transition to bf when they are at home so much easier.

About the pain you are experiencing, ask your dr if you can get a referral to a physical therapist as soon as

Thanks for sharing. I have to ask if they knew about the size difference before you delivered or was this a surprise?
