Sorry it took so long to post my story, but life is busy. The boys are great. I was so ready to get those babies out. If I was stared at or commented to one more time I was going to scream! Although I was as big as a barn (my mom would joke) I didn't want people to remind me.

Anyway, things are tough. I knew it would be hard, but definitely not this hard. My new favorite saying is "if it's not one it's the other". For those who don't know I also have a 2 1/2 year old girl who is a pistol. She's been helping with bottles and diapers, but she always needs to go potty when the boys are eating or she needs to nap when the boys are awake. The boys themselves are so different. Jacob spits up all the time. We've been to the doctor, tried differnet bottles, different formula, but nothing works. I guess he's just a puker! He also likes to be up all the time. He never settles down. He's always wiggling around and moving his legs arms and head. James on the other hand sleeps alot, but not at night. He's always cranky. Sometimes he cries for no reason. If I let him he'd eat every 2 hours. He doesn't like to fall asleep without eating so i have to force down the last ounce becuase he passes out. He doesn't like to lay flat so the boppy pillow is my miracle. He sleeps in a boppy in his crib.

Because the babies are so different my husband and I have to tag team. He gets one and I get the other. We actually have to sleep in separate rooms! Those of you who remember my stories with my MIL will enjoy to know that because the babies cry so much at night, she now sleeps on the couch in the basement. She hasn't slept in her bed for the last 4 weeks. HAHAHAHA. I love karma.

But overall, its hard. I can't say that I enjoy it. I do feel guilty for not being happy and joyous during my boys first months of life, but I know that someday I will be happy again and I will look back with positive memories instead of all the sleepness nights and hours of tears. I just hope that day is sometime soon.
