last time her heartbeat was 160, today it was 141. Do you think that's okay? The ultrasound tech didn't sound concerned about it, I just wondered if this was normal. baby A's heartbeat is 149, which is exactly what it was last time.

Same thing going on here. Yesterday, "A" hb was 142 and it has ALWAYS been in the mid 150s. "B" hb was in the mid 150s as always. She said that they are just fine. Like the pp said, they do tend to drop as you get farther and when they are less active.

I found a chart with averages for HBs by week of gestation...I am trying to find the link. In your 2T HBs from 110 to 160 are totally normal. The HB does slow down at the pregnancy progresses.

yup, as others said, that is totally normal. There is a "normal range" for the heartbeats to be in, I think it is like 120 - 170 or so...A baby's hb fluctuates all the time. When I was delivering the twins hb's were being monitored (while still inside me) and you could see minute to minute how much the heart rate fluctuates--so don't worry!!! Ask your doc or tech what the range is.
