Is it normal to still have some cramping? Its not really horrible just nerving. But I'm a worrier by nature lol I don't want to call my OB if its nothing. I'm jst curious if anyone experienced it at this stage of the game.

My OB actually wrote me a prescription for the belly band and said I would have to get it from a medical supply company. I called the 1 that we have here and they do fill them but they require you to come in and get measured. I guess insurance will cover it-so when I have a free moment (haha) I'll make an appt and go there. I'm hoping that it helps because, as I'm sure you know, some days are better than others :-)

Yes-I called my OB this morning and they had me come in. Turns out it is just round ligament pain. She did ultrasounds to check on the boys and they are doing fine. She also did a measurement on my cervix and it was long and closed-which is good. Then she sent me to the lab to have a urinalysis done to rule out a bladder infection. I was told to just take it easy the rest of the day. She also told me I may want to get a belly band as that may help relieve some of the pressure that I've been feeling.

I have a feeling this is going to be a long pregnancy lol Tell me that it gets a little better? :-)

Hi Doreen,

were you able to get ahold of your dr just in case? I didn't have cramping cramping, but did start to have quite a lot of RLPs around 17 weeks...

Hope everything is ok!

I honestly don't remember Doreen, but it's always better to call over nothing than ignore something that could become major. Hoping it's nothing.
