I started to have really bad hip pain today, on both sides. I seem to have woken up with it. It's almost like the pain you get after an intense yoga class, when you discover muscles you didn't know you have.
This is not the same as a time before, when I had pain from my hip down my leg. That was more of a nerve pain, and while it hurt, it hurt different. This pain is like on the "outside" of my hips, almost partially in my bottom muscles as well as the hips.
I read online this is common later in pregnancy, but I'm sure for us carriers of twins/multiples, it's not so uncommon earlier on.
Anyone else have this problem? Any good advice, besides not walking or bending? I plan on taking a warm bath soon. I'm guessing my best sleep position tonight will be partially sitting up on my back, since lying on either side would probably put pressure on my hips. I really don't like sleeping sitting up! Arg...
