At 20 weeks did they start to do internal exams every other week?

It seems like every doctor has their own protocol. I only had one internal exam with this pregnancy other than when I was in labor and that was only because I wanted permission to fly. Ultrasounds every 4 weeks or so, where they took a quick peek. With my last pregnancy they didn't do an internal exam ever.
But- you are having trips, and like I said, no two docs are the same...

Actually had the babies 2 days ago ;) Feeling good though, and considering- they are doing well too.
Best piece of advice, if something doesn't feel right, get it checked out- I went to the hospital even though the nurse wasn't sure I needed to come in, and glad I did!

I only had them towards the end, but that was with twins. Any reason they said they would be checking?

The nurse said it was because they just want to make sure my cervix isnt changing, thining out.
