Dear Jess,

Yes when I registered at Babies R Us they told me that on the big items when you buy 2 they give you 10 % off.

I wish I still had the list, I need to search for it again. (Joys of having a computer obsessed three year old) A lot of companies offer multiple discounts, ask everywhere you shop if they do. Sorry I'm not any more help, hopefully someone will chime in with the list soon.

Go on diaper websites...I got a pack of coupons from pampers and huggies with free diapers coupons, or hugely discounted $5 off etc for multiples. Same with formula (just in case bfeeding doesn't work out). Got a case of prepared formula from Similac and great coupons from Good start and enfamil. Also, got coupons from Gerber...

I definitely remember that BRU offered a 10% discount on the additional items if you purchased 2 or or more of a "big item".

Maybe I'm really paranoid, but to me it wasn't worth the discount to have to hand over my birth certificates. I'm too paranoid about identity fraud, but that's just me.

I never even thought about handing over birth certificates as proof- nobody ever asked me for any proof!

I remember a diaper club (you paid for a year and they mailed diapers each month, turned out that the people I heard about doing it felt burned and canceled) wouldn't give the "twin" rate, deeply discounted, without a birth certificate. I think I've read of other's asking for it but I decided the 10% off wasn't worth the risk, I waited for sales instead.
