I know there have to be some newly PG mums out there in IVillage land.  We had a couple of Twins and even a Quad when I was preggers with my Trips.  Come on ladies...  get your butts over here and start sharing! :smileyhappy:  That support from other MoM's (Moms of Multiples) is so important!  I wish I would have had other Trip mothers to talk to when I was PG.  There are some amazing Twin mothers here and I know they have great info and are amazingly supportive.

So come on!  We want to help :smileyhappy:

LOL... I totally understand!  When we were at that first U/S and saw the first hearbeat we were totally elated..  the second, we were beaming and crying at the idea of twins!... the third, we almost passed out from lack of oxygen, neither one of us were breathing!  Total shock.

Huge Grats!  Twins are so exciting, especially for a first and a surprise! :smileyhappy:

My twins were conceived just after I stopped the pill but was bf'ing my oldest still. I was sure I would need a few months to regulate before getting pregnant. Hah. ;-)

I would love to find a parents of multiples group around here....where did you look?

Welcome and congratulations! I looked into the local MoMs club but didn't find it a good fit for me. My twins are 3.5 now. :-)

Wendy, just google moms of multiples and your town. That's how I found mine.

Be prepared that very likely they will push to place an epidural but not put medication through it. It's so much easier on them to do a quick spinal block for an emergency c/s than having to put you totally out in a heaven forbid emergency. Also, very likely you will have to labor in the OR. It's just one of those "things" with multiples. :-/

If your hips hurt pile pillows between your knees while you're on your side. If you can line your knee up to your hips it won't hurt nearly as bad. :-)
