My DD was 8.03lbs @ birth, 40w1d, so a pretty good size :)
My boys are avg in the 40%. Ive gained the recommended weight in the recommended time & I see so many other twin mamas with big old babies.
It just got me wondering if Im lagging as I only have 1 placenta & it can only do so much... anyone know? i cant find anything on google. Ill ask Dr on Fri

Mindy, i don't know the answer to your question regarding Monochorionic twins, but I do know the old saying of "every pregnancy is different' rings true here as well.
For instance, I am tall and large framed (5'10") and DH is short 5"4.
I was just curious if a single placenta just doesn't have output as 2 do...Ill ask MFM on Fri since he likes to tell me every visit Mo/Di are his specialty.
I was in a car accident today, some old lady hit me. Everyone is fine but my car is a wreck. So now i need to deal with finding a loaner to fit 3 car seats!
I had 4hr NST though & everything looked good
I hear Chevy HHR's are great for 3 car seats, and I'm pretty sure my Impala would hold 3 too. Then of course vans, and suv's are made for it. What did you have before?
Yes DD was with me. Luckily the lady was driving slow & so was I so the impact was not much. I dont even think DD noticed. Of course she tore apart my car for $3500 worth of damage.
I found out the at fault party's insurance will cover a mini van so at least that worry is out of the way. Now I just need to deal with sitting @ auto body shop with DD waiting for the rental co to bring me my mini van & transferring DDs seat. Im exhausted just thinking about it! I have a BPP this am & then Im off to shop. Pus I still have all errands I was supposed to do when I got hit.
Ive also been having real contractions since the accident. They are still far apart & so far only last a few hrs @ most & usually at nite.
