I've been sick for two weeks, that's grr worthy enough, but not a good excuse. What's been bothering you this week ladies?

*My house. It's a disaster, and I'm having electrical problems. The bathroom outlets don't work (2.5 baths) the dryer outlet has decided it hates me and my outside lights are tempermental. I'm waiting for the electrician to get here this week but I'm not looking forward to the bill.

*My dog needs to be groomed but I've been too sick to do it. She's a spaz (she's wonderful with us and the kids and strangers in general, but one bad experience with the groomer and she can't handle it anymore, even taking her to a new place she freaked out and wet herself) so I've been grooming her in sections. So far the worst parts are done (she got cut on her leg and they ripped the hair out of her inner ear so she wouldn't let me even touch those for 6 months) but now she needs a bath and at the least her face shaved. I love the fact that she doesn't shed and doesn't have dander, but man, she's a lot of work. (Standard poodle, I'd envisioned dropping her off at the groomer and picking up a fluffy, pretty dog with pink bows in her hair. LOL)

*My BFF had her baby, and because I was sick, I couldn't go to the hospital to meet him. I think she gave me the cold in the first place, but there's no reason to risk it for any reason.

BLAH!!! That so doesn't sound like fun... I've been sick most of this week as well. And with the "big" weekend coming up, I hope I feel better soon. We're suppose to drive 3.5 hours (one way) to spend the day at the lake with my family, and to drop off our Tahoe to my brother! His fiancée and him bought it from us when we got our new Trailblazer, but that's been almost a month ago and this was the first opportunity we had to get it to them (they live in Denver, about 6 hours west of us)... But since I've been feeling like crap all week I don't know how that's gonna work out.

Not to mention I've EXPLODED this week, I swear my belly has doubled in size in the last few days. I've been so uncomfortable I don't even know what to do. Laying on the couch all day isn't really an option. Not with a house to clean and a 22 month old to chase and keep entertained. DH tells me when I talk to him in the morning that I need to take it easy and relax but then he comes home in the evening and wonders what I did all day... LOL I just want to be like, "Make up your damn mind!!!!!!!" You can't have it both ways. Either the house will be somewhat clean and I'll look like I got hit by a train or the house will be a disaster and I'll feel somewhat human!

Ugh, men.

Oh and 21 weeks and alot of Braxton Hicks... Also tons of fun, I mean, isn't it a little early for that????

I'm getting nervous now, my BP is creeping up, so on to weekly NST and appointments, my OB doesn't seem to have much confidence that I'd get through the next 4 weeks. Hoping for the best, but trying to prepare (especially DH, who always thinks everything will be ok) for the possibility we will meet the boys too soon. Stubborn little guys don't seem keen on turning, so I'm also having to wrap my mind around a likely cesarean that I REALLY don't want.
My OB clinic has their scheduling so screwed up that they weren't able to schedule any of my upcoming appointments with providers I've seen before, rather I'm in overbook slots with people I've never met. When the scheduler called me she was trying to give me an appointment over 3 weeks away, it's like- what part of weekly appointments for the next 4 weeks don't you understand??? Then she scheduled appointments and said "you're only having one baby right?", wrong again- "no, I'm having twins" to which "oh, no no, that appointment won't work now..."

Okay, so it doesn't compare it being 35+ weeks pregnant or having huge work issues, but adding on to the thread...

*My iPhone dropped 6 inches onto the surface of the desk and the screen cracked. I've dropped it from chest height (I'm 5'6") to the tile without a scratch. This is less than a month after it took a swim in a slurpee thanks to YDD. Apple just warranteed the stupid thing, now I have to wait it out and upgrade in the near future. Too many bills to do it right now but UGH!

(((Meg))) I can't imagine being pushed into making a permanent decision about my own body. Holy schmoly. I had a tubal myself but that's because I was D.O.N.E. having babies. I know myself well enough to know that I didn't want to do it again. I'm a witch when I'm pregnant, my stepmom said I have a better sense of humor but the rest of my attitude is just short tempered and mean. :-/ I also didn't want to go through a third+ c/s. SO on the other hand was all for it up until the day of, then he freaked out at the thought that we were done. ^_- Men, you can never please them it seems.

And wait, what? Vasectomy causes dementia??? That line actually made me LOL, sorry. :-X

Edit: I shouldn't have laughed, a small case study says there *may* be a link. That said, all I found was a single study with an extremely small sample population. I wouldn't trust it as science until a larger case study is performed. The search won me 7 swagbucks though. ;-)
