Welcome and congratulations. The shock, the "how many?!" all those emotions are normal. The shock wears off eventually, like around delivery. ;-) I'm glad you've found us, stick around. :-)

Don't beat yourself up! I'm almost 28 weeks with triplets and the reality that in a few short weeks I am going to have 3 more babies at once STILL hasn't set in. I truly don't think it does until delivery. You just found out today, right? Congratulations! Let the news settle for a bit. What you are feeling is completely normal.

Haha, I cried for 2 weeks when I found out it was twins. I was absolutely devastated...like I didn't find one single ounce of happiness at the news. I found out early on and for a few days I even secretly hoped I would lose one of them-disgusting I know. Then, when the shock wore off and I got over myself, I warmed up to the idea...big time. I'm so happy and grateful that my little ones are here, and that they are healthy and happy.

I also have a son who just turned 3, so it has been very very very busy, but it's amazing how you just adapt. I'm the most unorganized, scatterbrained person in the world, and somehow even I have been able to make this work. You just do what you gotta do.

Good luck to you, and I know you will be over the moon about it soon enough. There's something so incredibly special about carrying, delivering, and raising multiples. I feel so lucky to belong to this exclusive group now :) And if you would have asked me if I wanted twins a year ago I would have laughed in your face!

Thanks for all the support. This board is going to be a big help to me. I am glad I found it. I had found it, but then I posted on another board I go to, and one of the users recommended this board. I usually go to first time moms. I don't post a lot, but do lurk. But, I have SO SO many questions about twins, so I may post often here. I should actually introduce myself..lol. I am 20 years old and my name is Carson (female)...obviously.....lol.

Oh Kristy... LOL

I'm so glad that there's another disorganized, scatterbrain here!!! LOL I'm not a neat freak, I'm not organized, I'm not a planner... How much more unsuited for multiples could I be... LOL

When I found out we were expecting twins, I didn't know what to do... We had just started talking about having a second child when I found out we were PG, surprise #1... Then to have it be twins, DH & I were both in shock... I don't think we even spoke of it for over a week!!! Although all our friends and family knew, we didnt talk about it with each other AT ALL!!! Just the shock of it all was so overwhelming and I was really upset and worried for a long time...

We are really excited now, I

If it makes you feel better I'm unorganized and a giant scatter brain. I wouldn't know a schedule if it bit me in the butt. ;-)

I can honestly say that finding out I was having twins has been the only time in my life that I have been truly shocked!
