Things are going okay here. The boys are kicking more, which is reassuring, and I'm still relatively mobile. Since the doctor told me to stop exercising last week I think I've lost a lot of fitness, but I figured that just comes with the territory. I'm also only days away from the 28 week mark, which I see as a major milestone, the next one for me would be 32 weeks.
I have however developed excessive itching for the last two weeks, and after doing some reading online I'm thinking this is something I definitely need to approach my doctor about. It's been so bad that I've broke the skin several times and I'm losing sleep due to itching.
As for appointments, I have one on Friday (just regular OB checkup) and a growth scan on Tuesday of next week. Hopefully the babies have grown well over the 2 pound mark.
To answer your question, I would have to say the best thing(s) about being pregnant with multiples is the extra sonograms to see those babies and to some extent the extra attention/care people take with you when they find out you're having more than one.
Hope everyone else is doing well.
I had a friend with PUPPS and another has cholestasis.
Please add me! My name is Christy and I am expecting Quintuplets on Oct 26th. That is the orginal due date but I wont go anywhere near that date. We are on the yellow team.
Mother to Ty (9), Tayleigh (4), and Tanner (2) , and Quintuplets due in Oct 2010.
I get it, guilt trip city. ;-)
I'm so sorry but I don't think I'll get to this this week. SO's business has literally quadrupled and I can't keep up with his paperwork and making the calendar right now. I'm up at midnight just reading so I don't feel horrible if I miss anything major around here. :-(
