Should My Gums be Bleeding THIS Much??

Hello hello! I don't know if this is a pregnancy thing or a pregnant with multiples thing. I take very good care of my teeth...don't have gingivitis or tooth problems, or anything. My gums normally never bleed...ever. But this pregnancy has been crazy! My gums bleed if I pick a piece of food out of my teeth, they bleed if I accidentally poke them with a fork or toothpick, they bleed every day and night when I brush them. Speaking of...when I brush them I spit out gobs and gobs of blood...like I mean I get blood spatter in the sink! (sorry, I know that's really gross).
So I know this happens with pregnancy. It happened with my son, but not nearly as bad. Is this symptom heightened because I'm carrying two babies, or might the bleeding be a sign of some other underlying condition.
Thanks...any help would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, this can happen in twin pregnancies. I also have crazy nose bleeds. With the extra blood volume it can be really bad. My started to get a lot better when I started the 3T.
