Sleeping arrangements for twins?

Hi y'all

hope everyone is feeling good!

I was planning on going with the only double bassinet I saw the graco one to have the babies sleep in my room for the first bit, but after reading some reviews, it seems some ppl. found it cheap and hated it!, but regular bassinets have a weight limit of like 15 lbs, so with 2 they would out grow it pretty fast!

Any ideas?? Thoughts?

Thanks!!

Our plan right now, pending any better ideas, is to set up one of the cribs in our room and have all 3 babies sleep in there for at least the first little bit. Obviously a lot can change between now and when they're born, but I can't justify three separate bassinets. I don't think I've seen the bassinet you're talking about...I think I need to look it up!

The NICUs tend to co-sleep multiples (twins usually), and until they're older and moving around a lot it should be pretty safe.

I bought a Graco pack and play(but not the twin one) It looks like there should be enoughroom for them to co-sleep for awhile which I plan on doing to start. I'll try to attach a pic of the one I bought. I didn't like the twin bassinet sleeper one to much and I figured they may not be able to be in it long so why spend the extra money on it-ya know? After they outgrow it, I will invest in 2 cribs.

Hopefully the attachment works lol

The reviews on that one turned me off of it too. I had a regular pack and play, an Arms Reach co-sleeper, and a crib set up "side car" to my bed. I know things change and babies may or may not like plan A, B, or C. Mine went with plan D, sleep in mom's bed. ;-)

I loved my arm's reach co-sleeper (just make sure it's the full size one), it's a bit expensive but would have been great for breastfeeding in the middle of the night. We then moved them into cribs in our room (in hindsight, big mistake) they were noisy sleepers (grunting and such) and I just wasn't sleeping even when they were.
So we moved to our current arrangement, both of them in their own cribs in a room next to ours. We are all sleeping better!

My boys are 4 months old now, and we have a crib in our room and a crib in the nursery.

The twins slept in a cradle my FIL made us for the first couple of months in our room, then we moved them to their bedroom in a normal crib. For daytime naps, we used our Graco pack-n-play, it worked out really well. I think they liked being together those early months.

The girls sleep in a crib in our room at night. We figured they'd be with us for several months so it made sense to just set the crib up in there.
