Ask any mom who has been pregnant with twins and they’ll likely tell you theirs was an extra tough pregnancy learning curve. That’s because carrying twins has double the share of myths and misconceptions.
Two babies in the belly means you are eating for three, giving plenty of leeway for that big bowl of ice cream every night, right? (No, not true -- just because you are having two doesn’t mean your calories can double.) And when it seems like those babies are duking it out in your stomach, is it true they could possibly hurt one another? (No, not true – babies can’t hurt each other in the womb.)
