I think going to Sam's is pretty brave. I saw a fist fight there once on a regular ol' Saturday afternoon. Of course we were living in a kind of shady neighborhood at the time. :-)

Oh yes I saw about the pepper spray on the news. I just don't understand why people do those things to save a few lousy bucks. I have never been a big black friday shopper though. We did go to SAMS that afternoon and got a good deal on my Kitchen Aide Mixer though, we even won a 30 dollar gift card. But I was not there at opening time that morning :)

Isn't is sad!?

I had really hoped that these "lean" years with the economy so bad would bring us back to a true meaning of the holiday season.
