speaking for myself I do not worry about the time in class getting shorter b/c honestly I think kids spend enough time in school, they need time to be kids.

My concern is the quality of the class time they have, I feel it is dwindling.

That's definitely a good point. Maybe we should all be more concerned about quality and less about quantity.

I could not imagine Nathaniel going to school any longer than he already does. He goes from 8am - 2:30pm and he's in the 5th grade. If he had to go until 4 or 5 you would be peeling us both off of the ceiling. My dyslexic child definitley could not handle that. He needs his time in the backyard w/ rocks, dirt and sticks.
