..that we'll stand in line for 15 minutes instead of walking up the non-running escalator?

And it goes well with the people who'll circle the parking lot for 10-15 mintues to get that spot right next to the door, when they could have parked at the end of the row and did a 1 minute walk through the parking lot.......... then they pay big bucks to a gym to run on their treadmill for 30 minutes!

That would totally irk me too!

We have long driveways in our neighborhood and I've seen neighbors drive to their mailboxe then back to their house. It would probably take 3 minutes to actually walk there and back.

I take the train every day and Liam and I take it to school and yes people are rude. I have had people push Liam out of the way to get a train. When we started this he needed to hold my hand going up an escalator well this would infuriate people who wanted walk up. Screw u there are stairs next the escalator. I have many vents from riding when I was pregnant. The 40 year old business man in a designer suit who pushed by my 8month preggo belly and my cane tooting mil for the last open seat. Also had a woman as for my seat when I was 9 months pregnant the last time and I had been standing for 2 stops before a seat opened. I just looked at her and the elderly woman next to me offered her seat to the woman.

Now that said remember some people may look fine but u don't know. I have back issues. U wouldn't know it by seeing me standing or even walking but there are days I can't make it up the stairs or that standing is poor torture. I have a coworker with asthma and stairs can be an issue some days. Also not everyone has desk jobs. Dh used to do security in the city and take the t 10 hours on his feet even in his 20s wasn't fun.

I try to reach liam respect when we are on the t. It's generally not crowded when we get on. We are first stop we go 1 stop. What annoys me is people who push on as we try to get off. Hello can't u see us getting off and if u don't move we can't get off u can't get one. If its crowded very few people offer up a seat for him but I usually decline at this age he is old enough to stand and he liked it. Tonight on my way home some guy was napping taking up 3 seats at rush hour!!!

I know those escalators from our visits to DC (not that you are there, but they have some really long ones!) The people pushing in line would annoy me. Can you get a cane and hold it out in front of them and stop them? I mean, unless they are a doctor going to do heart transplant or deliver a baby, why is them being late your problem? Wait like everyone else.

My kids would be running up those escalators, working or not. And yes, I would be there probably panting behind them.
