Summer plans?

The post below got me thinking-anyone else making summer plans-camps for kids or vacations?
Zeph will be on summer swim team (daily practice) and karate continues through the summer.

Wow- thanks; I looked at some and they look very interesting. I wasn't sure when you said reasonable if it would be what I consider reasonable (back to the four kids, one income, two in college ;)) but it actually is pretty decent. Thanks so much for the referral!!

Also Benedcitine is offering a FREE middle school science camp. It's called summer sleuths and the topic this year is water pollution.
Right now the boys are signed up for swimming lessons in early July.
Heidi - the skating program in the summer is Thursdays 6-7pm across from the high school.
Hooray, just got a note from the zoo that they are giving the kids the scholarship! So the boys will be in this class together...

Is a monkey more like an elephant or an eagle?
Universal Studios was my favorite as a kid! And now there's Islands of Adventure (just next door to Universal), which is awesome if you like rollercoasters...and they've got a Dr. Seuss area as well.
This summer we'll be hitting the community pool, Grandma's pool, and the beach quitte a bit. I'd like for Lucy (6)
Julie, Mommy to Luciana (4) & Carolina (14 mos)
I didn't realize they had rinks there. I know the other 2 area rinks start at 4 years. There is one a few towns over that started at 3 years but its twice the cost and less time then the one we did with Liam through another towns hockey program. We never did the city hockey program because they don't even skate in the city we merged with another city not that close. I think Liam would have quit if not for the pads, and all DH hockey pals say its better to learn with them but I really liked the program we used for Liam. They teach skating using tball, basketball and soccer on the ice so the kids are having fun. Complete pads are optional but they use full cage helmets and given Liam's cleft lip and all the work they already did, any activity where he can completely protect his face I am all for. Although lost that argument with the surgeon and orthodontist. Honestly he has a better chance of taking a baseball to the face in little league then a puck, but its also VERY expensive and time consuming so they won.
Does sound like we dodged a BIG one with the announced cuts. I was screwed, was going to need to find new Drs for the kids. I don't drive, we are walking distance to the T but there is only 1 bus near us (well 2 but 1 runs very infrequently) and that was in danger under both senarios. Don't know if its safe but sounded that only 1 route was completely cut so think it will be ok...for now. The cost increase guess I can't complain too much my work currently pays 100% for my tpass. Things aren't as good now for work as it was last time t increased so we aren't sure if they will continue to completely cover a base pass but they won't lower what they currently cover so will just need to make up the difference so really can't complain. Course looks like the commuter rail people are really going to feel the pinch.
DS (age 10) is going to have one very busy summer!
He's old enough now to join the junior tennis league progam, which goes six weeks, June through the middle of July.
