At what age (in your opinion) is it appropriate for girls to start shaving their legs?

When the hair starts getting long and dark and they feel the need. Some areas of the country, it may be never. I did at 12. At 11 my daughter has no urge.

My dd asked at 11 and I finally gave in but after doing it twice she gave up on it and hasn't done it in months, so that is fine with me. Luckily her hair isn't dark:)
