Wednesday Wondering: Kids Making Resolutions?

We always talk about what our new year's resolutions are, what we accomplished last year and what our hopes are for this coming year.

But today I am wondering if your children make resolutions?

Ask them what they think their biggest accomplishment was in 2011 and what they hope to accomplish in 2012.

There's been a recetn change in him regarding introspection and self awareness. I think he is growing up.

Those are great things for him to say. So mature.

Since we really don't discuss making resolutions, the boys have never made any or even ask what they are.

Zeph said he would like to work on thinking before he speaks.

I made them for them (yah controlling) but so far we are on a potty roll and well too earlier to see how Liam is doing in school

I'll have to ask when they get home! So far I don't know of any resolutions they've made. I don't think they've really heard about making resolutions.

DH and I do have some that affect them though! I told them that I'll no longer be able to hear them when they're whining; they'll have to use a normal voice to speak with me. ;)

DH has agreed to eating - or at least trying - more vegetables, so that effects what I get to make for dinner. (I love veggies!) DS already asked "Mommy, why do I have to eat salad this year?" LOL. I hope he (and DH) learns to like a few more things.
