You might recognize a few names and faces in this great slideshow!

Fresh Ideas for Packed School Lunches~

Let's keep it going! What else do you pack for your little ones?

Mine get sunbutter and homemade jelly sandwiches since peanut butter is not allowed. I also like to give them homemade jelly since I don't use much sugar in it.

My kids also like things they can dip - veggie sticks and ranch dressing, a cheese stick with marinara sauce, etc.

Have you ever tried pita chips with hummus for dipping? If they like bread sticks w/ those dippers they might love hummus.

If you kids like bananas or strawberries you could add those fresh fruits sliced up to the nutella sandwich instead of jelly for a change up :)

I love those little containers for lunchable type lunches. When Nathaniel was younger he liked it if I cut his cheese and meat out w/ cute cookie cutter shapes.

You could try fruit kabobs. My son loves it when I buy some wooden skewers and put different kinds of fruit on them. Then I give him a cream cheese dip or yogurt cup to dip his fruit pieces in.

That's a good idea! I don't know if he'd go for it, he's got some special needs but I'd really love to get him away from the jam. I've got a huge garden here and we are making our own strawberry-fig jam so at least I've been able to control the amount of sugar.

I'm loving the ideas from here! Can someone share a good breadstick recipe? Preferably homemade, I'd rather not have to buy pre-fab Pillsbury or anything. Thanks!
