Today we are doing school (finally, after many days of just playing in the snow). Still doing some sledding. Tomorrow we go to the school, the older two do MAP testing, I meet with the teacher when they are done with testing then we rush to eye therapy. Someplace in there we eat lunch.

Wednesday we have speech therapy and round two of MAP testing for son with accommodations. Thursday we go meet at 11:00 with other kids in my daughter's Future City group to do a practice of their presentation. At noon, my daughter has a babysitting class from 12-4. At 2:00 my youngest son and I do eye therapy. At 4 my daughter is doing her presentation for the school. At 5:30 the school is having "Winter Fest." We will be having tacos there for dinner, then meet the teachers for next semester where I can tell them all about how my oldest son has issues with writing. Kids will do some cake walks and we will be coming home.

Friday I may be taking the boys to the library in the afternoon for Legos. Or, I may be going to Seattle with my daughter for her Future City Competition. Or, we may leave Saturday morning at something like 3:00 am. This was supposed to be last weekend, but thankfully got cancelled. The woman in charge of it is also in charge (in her real job) of helping get power back on for 24,000 people who lost power in Tacoma. If we don't do the competition this week, we will do it next.

And people think that homeschoolers just sit around home....I wish!

we are going skiing on Friday. Its was supposed to be a teacher professional day but they canceled it last week, however already had time requested off and reservations made. We stay at my parents place but you booked the lessons and its the principal. They SHOULD have known in June when they made the schedule for this year that being a presidential election year there would be a primary and our primary is usually around the same time. If it dawn on them then guessing it should have more then 2 weeks ago which is when they gave notice and furthermore if the day is supposibly for teacher training how is it you can cancel said training with 2 weeks notice and manage to reschedule on the primary. This is 3rd year in a row they cancel this day off with short notice and 3rd year in a row we will be playing hookey (shhh)

Getting back to normalcy after back-to-back class field trips last week (They went to the New Victory Theatre one day, and saw a dance performance at the Joyce the next).
