Any graduations of promotions?

The summer program is strictly music: 8-10 hours a day. In the fall she'll be doing high school academics (her senior year) mixed with a pretty intensive pre-college-conservatory music program: lots of lessons, freelancing, chamber music, assistant concertmaster of the main provincial youth orchestra, going on tour to China with them, all sorts of cool things. She only has 3.5 courses left to do for her graduation diploma, so her academic load will be pretty light. That's good, because I'm sure she's underestimating how much time and energy it's going to take to live independently, dealing with shopping, meal prep, public transit, laundromats and so on.

After she has her high school diploma she'll be doing a Bachelor or Music in Violin Performance at McGill University. That will start fall 2012.
