New here with a question

Thank you both for your replies. Sorry it took me so long to get back here. I lost the link and had a really hard time finding my way back!

I really appreciate your input on this situation. I've been working very hard to make sure I validate all of my sons' efforts (that was an awkward word). My middle son got a perfect report card this time around :) This is the second time this year and none of his brothers have had such an accomplishment, so he's feeling pretty darn good about himself :D
