After reading Rebekah's post about resolutions every mom should make, I've resolved to do more family time where I'm not worrying about the dirty dishes or laundry that needs to be put away.

Those are gorgeous! We could never do that where we live (cold is 50 degrees) but I just love the look of it.

Those are *amazing*!! Thanks so much for sharing. I will definitely be trying that. It's been way below freezing here, but is supposed to finally warm up a bit this weekend. We typically have a long, cold winter though, so I'm sure we'll have a chance to make some again in a few weeks. Until then I can at least plan what we'll make!

We watch the old 80's and 90's sitcoms together. I love watching The Cosby Show or Full House with Nathaniel.

We love playing the Wii but since we've beat the Mario Bros. game and started going back to get the star coins so we can play courses in world 9 its gotten to be a bit of a war LOL a friendly one mind you but we are serious Mario players.

I know I catch myself saying those things too. We love playing board games together. Nathaniel himself intiated that we would have a family game night ever week and we play things like LIFE, Monopoly and Clue.

We live in a small town where we don't really have places to go (no zoos, plays, movies or restaurants), nor are we a video-game family. We seem to have a lot of fun but it's mostly just "in the flow of life" fun. Like bizarre hilarious dinner table conversation, or a spontaneous game of quidditch that we invent while playing outside in the snow (we were supposed to be shovelling), or goofing around while doing the dishes, or playing a weird story game while on a long drive.

What are ice lanterns? I'm intrigued! (And I love crafty things!)

I admit, we are a busy bunch so all together isn't as common as it used to be but I feel like we make the most of the time we have. I think that's what is important - making the most of the time that you do have together. I need to be better about that instead of trying to get things accomplished or just melting into the couch in exhaustion!

I really need to remember the Wii more often. We played it a lot together when we first got it and it was so much fun!

I love that you and DD wake up early and go on adventures together!
