Today starts the overlap of soccer, karate and swim team practices.
Today was bill day, its not even 9am an I have paid all the bills due today, so not fun. A very little grocery list as my ward will bring in meals the end of the week.
DD is at her "job" and should be home in time to do literature and math. DS13 and 10 are still sleeping. They will do chores when they arise and math and literature too. i need all of them to practice handwriting again, boy they don't like that, but I will tie it into scripture study as they can copy their scripture for the day. After that freedom.
I have group this afternoon and don't know if I am going to go, I'm teriffied of getting sick before Thursday and so I may cocoon myself at home. DH is hoping to be home for a pass through and if he has time he may take DD to see the Hunger Games, i don't think the boys want to see it though. Who knows they might not want to turn down movie and candy.
Ds10 wants hot dogs for dinner, yuck, but since ds13 picked last night I guess I have to deliver. I would prefer a big old BUCKET of KFC, so not healthy but sounds so good.
Well off to get ready for group.
Sometimes I just crave fried chicken too! When is your night to pick? I have been going to our grocer for fried chicken, as it is really good there,
DS asked to do testing before lunch.
Long day yesterday...dh and I and the rest of our quartet went to a nearby town to play for a memorial gathering for an interesting old woman...about 200 people showed up to the renovated
We had a laid-back day today. We had an egg dye and egg hunt this morning at our co-op (which is small, only 6 kiddos). We got back somewhat late and Lucy was able to get in some reading eggs (on-line phonics). We've been reading The Wonderful Wizard of Oz and Lucy's enjoying that, but we usually don't get any reading done until bedtime. Lucy's been refusing to do math lately so we're keeping that to a minimum. She will have cooking class tomorrow, so that counts right?? She was looking at measurements yesterday and was able to tell me what milliliters were. And she could read the number 237...so I guess she's doing fine. She's reading well too so I don't have to worry much in that dept. Anyway, we have a slow morning tomorrow and I'm trying to decide what to do. So many bills to pay, and taxes to do...but so little time!
