Hey moms and grandmas, come on out and play.  It's recess time.

Blah, Wednesday, that means back to work.  I think I need a couple weeks off...not just 3 days...LOL.  Oh well, if I want a paycheck that's the amount I'm accustomed to, I have to work.  And, at least it's midnight work...yay, vacation of sorts, LOL.

My happy moment is that a new waste company is serving our township and they didn't arrive until 0823 this morning!  That's late, compared with the old company whose trucks always woke me up.  The other company's trucks were so noisy that I would hear them for an hour or more before they even got to my house...which meant I was being awakened very early on my days off.  Not nice for a shift worker.  This company's truck was quiet...I heard it when I saw it, not before.  Woot woot!

Going to try to roust one child into doing schoolwork today.  The other child has homework to complete for co-op tomorrow.

One small Lit project done.  Geography done and redone.  History map assignment done.  Medeval history lesson done. Math lesson done.  Five Lit chapters read.  Discussion, written questions, and timeline for Lit to still go.  No friends were available to go to swim today, but one countered with skate tomorrow so that is a plan.  DH reminded me that the astononmy club meeting is tonight.  I'm going to skip it, but he and Zeph will go.  The topic sounds dull to me, but they were excited-- We present seven overlapping methods used by astronomers to measure distance in space. My home schooler just woke up at ten. So it will not be full days work here for her. My two going out are going to be cranky and tired by the time school is out. Routinely being up late, and now all will pay with a few days of cranky. Plus COLD....trying to keep area's of the house we are in warm at the right time or drop the temp...and still havng trouble with the new thermostat settings. Just not time to actually read it all set it all and then someone walks by and re-sets it anyway.

Same with lizard lights....some one is turning them on then it is out of sync with timer....I keep the heat mats on a seperate outlet, just so that is a constant. Winter....it comes with extra work!  My little dogs seems cold, put a sweater on him, and he was whiney this morning...cold I guess. We will all be eating ot of sync of each other and trying to get back to more healthy fare, January is always in need of strong will and a bit cranky and depressing all around.

I am trying to not set to many hard goals today, and just try and make others happy and help them find rest or peace as we go thru some routine, today.   Plus one has a mild cold, scratchy throats all around, hope to keep that from growing into worse. So will promote sleep and peace to work back to better routine health. I am tired myself, and I have to be the pace setter here.

Zeph is  trying to get some friends to go to with to homeschool swim today.  I have to go and pick up Frodo's collar and leash from the store-it's finally in!  So cute green with squirrels on it.  I'd like to go to the track, but I'm waiting to hear back about swim first to best plan my time.  Literature, history, math, and geography today. If we don't go to swim maybe we'll add in a Flash lesson.  Right now he and DH are watching Star Trek.  It's like getting 2 kids back into a routine<eyeroll>.
