This is one of our busiest boards so I want to make sure everyone is okay and able to post. Update me here on your specific issues and if you're not able to even post, trying PM'ing me or email: policy@mail.ivillage.com. You can also check here for updates, although it seems vegiemama is doing a fantastic job keeping you guys updated as well:

We want to be sure that each and every one of you (hbka20, turtleemom, candorella, muddymessalonskee, and many more!) are able to log in and post, just as you could before the relaunch of our boards.

muddymessalonskee is not able to post at all.  She's been PMing me with frustrations.  I will pass along the info so she can contact someone directly.  Thanks for checking in on us, Lisa.

I'm still here.  We have been having computer and internet issues so I haven't been on much.  I do have one question however.  How come the threalds aren't showing up as read after I've read the replies?

Glad you're still here and was able to log-in and post! The "threads not showing up as read after I've read the replies" is a bug that's on our "known issues" list. Unfortunately, it's just not as high of a priority right now as the bugs that are keeping some members from being able to log in and/or view replies.

Thanks for hanging in there with us!

Quick reply will not do paragraphs. I don't have things for the bottom, and in the past the regular reply bogged down my computer and wouldn't let me do spell check as my computer is too slow. I tried one day with it with the new, not sure it worked so well. I use firefox, if that makes a difference. (Tried paragraph for this one.)

I hate having to learn a new keyboard.  this is the third time I've tried to reply to this thread.  I have no idea what keys I'm hitting by accident but my post keeps disappearing on me or the curser disappears.  Now to learn a new format for the message board just compounds my frustration.  I like things staying the same so I don't have to think about them.

More replies: Smile

Treddlesewingmachine- Yep, the no paragraphs with quick reply is a "known issue". Unfortunately, it's not as high of a priority as fixing other bugs such as the one that is not allowing some members to see replies. Have you tried the regular reply yet? You might be surprised since one of my favorite things about our boards now being in-house is the faster loading times! Smile

SewChris703: The keyboard/keys used to post shouldn't be different...was this just happening to you yesterday, by chance? We had some serious technical issues yesterday and I know the boards were up and down all day. If your post have been disappearing when you try to reply even before that, then we definitely need to investigate further. What browser and operating system are you using? Is there a different browser you can try to see if it does the same thing to you there?

Thanks for not giving up on us!

It's not you; it's my new keyboard.  I think that I'm hitting a wrong key and causing all kinds of gremlin activity.  It's happening to email and any time I type.  The curser jumps backwards and upwards to previously typed words and sentences; the window scrolls down or up so I can't see what I'm typing; the entire post disappears and the curser is back at the beginning.  Dylan suggests turning off my touch pad since I use a mouse.  Maybe I'm touching the pad and I don't know it.  I'll see if that helps.  It can't hurt since I don't use it anyway.
