Got a big weekend coming up and I don't think I'll have a lot of time in the coming week!

It's too bad that the fiance's family isn't coming to the wedding, but perhaps in these economic times, they just didn't have the resources to travel and get a room.

It's great to hear an update - sounds like things have been pretty crazy by you. I'm pretty impressed that your younger dd was able to land a job so quickly - and also impressed that she chose to take on the extra work and start right away too; she's no slacker, that's for sure!

The wedding sounds like it's coming along nicely, although it is surprising that so few of his family are coming.. I also wonder if the economy is hitting hard. Even for those of us who have jobs, nothing has felt very secure lately. I hope it's a wonderful, intimate wedding for her! As for older dd, I'll just cross my fingers that she finds a good spot to land. On the positive side, she does have six years behind her, which looks mighty good on a resume. When is she planning to start the jobhunt in Portland? It sounds like you and dh will be getting very familiar with that area. :)

Thanks for the update, calmama! Sounds like you are all doing well and keeping busy. I hope your younger dd is able to catch her breath this week befor the wedding and that the day is perfect for them. And hopefully your older dd will start having more ups than downs with the help of the meds and therapy. You never stop worrying about them, do you?
