DH and I raise & show Wire Fox Terriers and DD & DS grew up with our dogs! I've done up a new website for our kennel on Google and wanted to share. Someday I'll break down & pay for a domain / website but for now I like the free sites. Here is the link, hope you will come and visit:

LOL- Yes Wires do love the snow -but then they have warmer "coats" than your dogs do! Ours love to stick their noses in the snow or chase snow balls around

Yes- being able to share a hobby with DH is fun! I actually married into the hobby- he was raising Fox Terriers when I met him. We continued when the kids were little but of course there were lots of other things that we had to do! School,soccer,track,swimming, etc
Now that the kids are grown & gone we have more time for the furry kids! At least they don't need to drive anywhere

Part of our yard is fenced in and we have an Acre that is outside the fence. We do have 3 dog runs- but we do let them run in the fenced area.
