Well, we went to dd's neuro ophthalmologist follow up appointment after the spinal tap.

So glad you felt the love and support! And SO glad her problem is treatable!

As far as the weight goes...I'm curious about that, as 10-15 pounds is really not what I would consider "overweight". Girls especially are so weight conscious already, particularly at this age, it just seems like that minor a weight issue shouldn't have such a major impact on her health.

OTH - if it truly is a major factor, it's not that much to lose. Hopefully she can find some kind of fun activity to get into that keeps her active and burns enough calories so she doesn't have to focus on her diet so much!

Now there's incentive to take some long walks or bike rides together!
