Not only will they get an A, B or C now they will get their BMI.

What do you think about this trend? Good or Bad?

Do you think this will help decrease childhood obesity?

In PA our kids have been getting their BMI measurements taken in school for the 8 years we have lived here. Every year we get a letter saying that my daughter's BMI is too low. It is pretty annoying. I know she is thin, but she eats well. Every year I need to get the letter signed by her Doctor. Knowing that her BMI is low has not changed our eating habits at all, so for us it is pretty useless.

FYI - ds's BMI is always within the normal range, albeit very low and always borderline too low. Even though his is normal he is the one with the lousy eating habits and he is the one I worry about.
