Now that the Cardinals are out of it, no, no World Series fan this year!

No major updates here; midterms week for ds18; he only has 2, and one is postponed til next week (he wishes it weren't;; would rather get it overwith).

I am continuing to be very frustrated with the slow loading, and transition time.

For everyone re: slow load.

My understanding is this is a priority #1.

I'm here. Justin is about half way through his 1st semester at Community College. Not studying as much as we'd like but so far doing OK. He has 3 tests next week - we'll see how the grades look after that! Big news is that Danielle FINALLY signed the papers and he goes tomorrow with the attorney in front of the judge to finalize the divorce (at least I hope it's finally final - we first went to see the attorney on June 4).

Jason applied to 14 med schools. So far he's gotten 4 rejections and 3 interview offers. He's had one interview and has 2 more to go and still has yet to hear from 7 schools. He's still looking for a job - had a promising interview at a video store Tuesday, took a test, and his next step is to speak to the district manager. If he gets it he'll probably have to shave his goatee, which he's not happy about but we've been trying to suggest that to him for months. He also had a chance to teach an MCAT classs; unfortunately it was up in Chicago and since he's back here in the Peoria area that wouldn't have worked out.

Getting used to the new format but still can't say I like it and I probably don't check in as much as I used to either.

It must be crazy for people who work in stores to be putting up the Christmas displays now.

Colors are not so good here--first too wet, then WAAAAY too dry.

ROFL and it took me a good hour to sew a bit of a hem on dh's pants a few weeks ago when he was packing for a business trip! My mom didn't sew and even though I took the required Home Ec in high school I never really learned to sew. I wonder if many young women these days still are learning? I've been to my 20th and 25th reunion and the 25th reunion of the class behind me (most of my friends were a year behind me). Missed the 30th; will shoot for the 35th in a couple years!
