Congrats to Connor! How did he enjoy his first semester? Did he find a 'niche' with a nice group of friends? Hope you all have a wonderful, blessed Christmas!

That's good to hear! It's a good sign when they're motivated. Semester one is always a big learning curve!

Final grades came in and I think Connor did well for his first semester of college. He got four B+ and one A- for a GPA of 3.41. He feels he didn't do well enough, but I had to remind him that it was his first time managing everything on his own and that next semester he'll have a better idea of what is expected. Especially for term papers and such.

I think that he did really well for the first semester, or really any semester. Just adjusting to college in and of itself is a huge deal. Were those the grades that he was expecting, or wasn't he sure exactly what would happen? Even when my dds kind of know what they're getting, they're always relieved to see the actual, final grades on the screen, just to make sure!!

I hope you enjoyed a wonderful Christmas with him-

Theresa
