Same to you and everyone else here! DS19 asked that we do Christmas today, not because he was eager for his presents, but because he was eager to give us ours - kinda a nice feeling. So we're just laying low and hanging together for the day, which is very nice. Tomorrow aft we go to MIL's as we always do, which means most of dh's immediate family (20 of 24) will be there - it's a bit chaotic and ds doesn't thrill to all the chaos, so it's nice to have today to ourselves - I kinda like this new 'tradition'.

All I have to bring tomorrow is a dessert (I have little chocolate cups that I'm going to put mousse in so they're tiny desserts) and an appetizer (taco dip) so it'll be quick prep. Then we have everyone over here on the 27th to go through our local park that has a ton of lights - annual tradition to do that and pizza and then hot chocolate and cookies afterwards. I like that one more than Christmas day...

Enjoy your families, everyone!

Same to you and everyone else here! Justin will go to his girlfriends' this evening and then come back in time for church at 10:00. The 4 of us will go to church - maybe also Jason's fiance. Tomorrow we'll go to a movie at some point; I'm assuming Jason will spend part of the day over at Jackie's house and we'll have steak for dinner tomorrow night.

Oh no - I hope you're all doing better today. It sounds like a quiet Christmas is just what the doctor ordered.

Well, at least the Packers game was enjoyable for someone! Thank goodness we can root for the Bulls now, lol... dd19 says she feels the same way about IU's football/basketball teams :)

We had a lovely Christmas. We celebrate on Christmas Eve and I hosted. In honor of dh's Italian heritage, I did homemade ravioli and gnocchi, with various sauces. Dh's mom, my dad and his new wife, and my sister and her family all came - plus the six of us and dd19's bf. It was a crowd :). We spent most of the day together, went to services at 7:30, and then hung out together singing. Christmas Day was super low-key, which was perfect. Everyone liked their gifts and it was so nice to have everyone here. Ds9 made a card for all of us that read "Life is simpler when we are all together. All of you brighten up my day," with a sun on it. It is funny how
